Nicola McNamara, FNP-C

Nicola has lived in Colorado for 28 years, spending many years in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado.  Before moving to Colorado, Nicola was born and raised in Scotland. She moved to Northern Colorado to attend the University of Northern Colorado, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in nutrition and her Master’s in nursing with a family nurse practitioner emphasis.

Nicola has worked in the emergency department for 11 years, ranging from large, inner-city, level I trauma centers to small mountain town emergency rooms across Colorado.  Her time spent in these various locations has brought her a wealth of knowledge regarding diverse illnesses and injuries.

Her passion for emergency and urgent care patients is due to the variety of cases that she has been presented with over her many years of experience.   Nicola loves caring for and making close connections with people in her community.

When Nicola is not working, you can find her spending time with her husband, two kids, and Golden Retriever Hank.  Her family enjoys exploring our great state and all it has to offer. They love camping, hiking, skiing, and golfing. They also love to travel, exploring places here in the U.S, other countries, and going back to Scotland to visit family.
